Sports Welcome Bonus – 100% Match up to 100 USDT
It’s not uncommon for sports betting sites to offer some kind of welcome bonus in order to incentivize players to deposit there (and become, in essence, paying customers). The way it works is basically “if you give us some money, we’ll give you some bonus cash that you can use to place bets on us – and if you win enough, you might even be able to keep it!” Although this is a sound idea in theory, in practice, Planbet's welcome bonus (albeit quite standard for a bookie) likely won’t be enough to convince a lot of people.
Basically, when you deposit at least 15 USDT (the minimum deposit in general), you’ll receive a 100% match up to 100 USDT. So, if you deposit 15 USDT, you’ll get 15 USDT in bonus cash for a total of 30 USDT to play around with. This can be a bit low, especially since it’s the only welcome bonus available to punters (in stark contrast with the casino bonus which is ten times as big and spread across multiple different promos), but it can be a nice perk for those who were going to sign up for Planbet anyway.
As mentioned earlier, this bonus will be yours to keep – but only after you complete some stringent requirements. You’ll have to wager it 5 times on accumulator bets containing 3 selections, each of which has odds of at least 1.40. Once you wager the bonus sum that many times, it will be added to your real money account while any winnings above it will expire.
Bonus for a Series of Losing Bets
Sadly, Planbet won’t give you any reload promotions, at least not if you’re a punter. Instead, the site will reward long-standing players with three separate offers, each of which is fairly situational and can trigger when certain conditions are met. The first one will give you a consolation prize should you experience a string of bad luck.
If you lose 20 bets in a row, the site will give you a little bit of money so that at least the loss doesn’t sting so badly. How much exactly you’ll get will depend on the lowest bet you made among the 20. Here’s a handy-dandy table to illustrate how it all works:
Minimum bet | Bonus size |
2 USDT | 100 USDT |
5 USDT | 250 USDT |
10 USDT | 500 USDT |
If you wagered under 2 USDT somewhere in that “chain” of 20, then it will “break” it, as only 20 concurrent losses of bets of at least 2 USDT will count. Furthermore, all bets must be placed within a period of 30 days, and the odds must not exceed 3.00. If you’re placing an accumulator bet, all sections must lose for it to count as a loss. If you have a losing streak that covers these extensive requirements, just contact Planbet’s support to receive your bonus!
Accumulator of the Day
Accumulator wagers (known also as acca bets or multibets) are inherently very risky. After all, if even one section of your bet loses, then the whole thing bursts into flames! To incentivize players to place these types of bets anyway, many bookmakers will create different bonuses that will boost the odds, should the player win. Typically, an acca boost bonus will boost your winnings depending on how many selections you have, but Planbet has chosen to go a different route.
You see, every day the site will present you with an “Accumulator of the Day,” a series of pre-selected matches that only need you to pick the winner. Should you manage to win this particular accumulator, with none of the selections failing you, the odds of the betslip will automatically increase by 10%, giving you higher winnings. It’s not an amazing promotion, but it’s great for people who like betting on accas!
Weekly Cashback
The final sports offer is a simple cashback on your losses – so, yet another promo that is aimed at people who lose more than they win. Putting that aside, though, cashbacks are typically reserved for the casino section, and often walled behind a VIP program of some sort. As such, it’s pretty cool that Planbet is giving one not just to punters, but to ALL punters, even those who have just joined the site.
Unfortunately, said cashback isn’t very high: just 3% of all your losses during a one-week period. All qualifying bets must have been placed on odds of at least 1.5, and by the end of the week, you must have lost more than you have won. Finally, you must not be currently participating in any other bonus (like the welcome bonus or acca of the day). If all of those conditions are fulfilled, you’ll get 3% on those losses back. It’s not much, but it’s… something.
Casino Welcome Bonus – Up to 1,500 USDT + 150 Free Spins
A bit earlier, we mentioned how the welcome bonus of the casino bonus is significantly better than the one for the sports section – but it’s important to talk about it so you can see precisely how much better it actually is. They’re not even close!
Unlike the sports bonus, the casino one will come in 4 different parts, each tied to one of your first four deposits. In essence, it’s 4 bonuses in 1, each of which will net you a different reward containing a match percentage (by how much your deposit will be multiplied), a maximum bonus amount (how much your total bonus from this deposit will be), a number of free spins, as well as the game those spins can be used on. Sounds complicated? No worries – let’s break it down into a table!
Deposit | Match Percentage | Maximum Bonus | Free Spins | Free Spins Game |
First | 100% | 300 USDT | 30 | Mighty Egypt Riches |
Second | 50% | 350 USDT | 35 | Boost the Wheel |
Third | 25% | 400 USDT | 40 | Cherry Bombs |
Fourth | 25% | 450 USDT | 45 | Fruit Factory |
Wow, quite a lot of stuff, huh? Here you might be thinking something along the lines of “But wait, there must be some kind of catch, right?” Well, no, not really. Of course, you’ll have to contend with wagering requirements, but they’re pretty average and similar to what can be found in most casinos: you’ll need to play through your bonus x35 times before you can withdraw it. Overall, if you’re wondering what bonus to claim, we strongly recommend that you go with the casino one over the sports betting one!
It should come as no surprise that I wasn’t a big fan of Planbet’s bonuses – at least the ones for sports betting. The welcome bonus is just way too small, while the rest of them are extremely situational, and two of the three only activate when you’re losing money. What sort of incentive to play is that?! How about some bonuses that reward you for being active, or making deposits? The casino players certainly have it good, I’ll tell you that much!
