NaoBet: Is it legit?

Any reasonable player would be concerned about whether the bookmaker they’re considering giving money to is legitimate or not. After all, in this day and age virtually anyone can make their own gambling site – it’s not like in the old days where only big, legitimate companies could afford to spend the resources to maintain an online bookmaker. This means that many sites are operating illegitimately, for the purposes of scamming players.

Below, we’ll share our thoughts on whether we think NaoBet is one of them, as well as outline some methods we use to determine the legitimacy of sites. However, it’s important to note that these are just our thoughts, and not some kind of universal truth that everyone is beholden to. If you disagree with us – that’s great! Just read what we have to say, take it into account, and make the final call yourself. What matters is not what we think but what you’re comfortable with!

The Short Answer: Is NaoBet Legit?

After carefully examining everything, we believe that NaoBet is a legitimate site – but there are still a few causes for concern.

Why Do We Think That?

  • Unlisted Owner – NaoBet’s owner, NovaForge Ltd, isn’t actually listed anywhere on the site – in fact, if you were to ask the site’s customer support, not even they would tell you who their boss is. After doing a little digging, we were able to uncover the owner in the Anjouan license registry (more on that in just a bit), but it just begs the question of why they don’t want to be found. Furthermore, NovaForge as a company doesn’t have much of a presence online, so running a background check on it was very difficult.
  • Anjouan License – Strangely enough, despite this fact not being listed anywhere on the bookmaker’s website, NaoBet is in fact fully licensed and regulated by Anjouan Gaming. This regulator is relatively new on the market, but is already making a reputation for transparent and easy to verify licenses, as well as quick responses to complaints and disputes. Although Anjouan isn’t quite as strong of a license as, say, Malta or UK, it’s still a very respectable option about on the level of Curacao or Kahnawake. At the very least, it gives you an avenue to pursue if you need to file a dispute.
