Although email will be slower, taking up to 24 hours for a response, that response is practically guaranteed to be significantly more useful than whatever you’d get out of the live chat.

For starters, it took about fifteen minutes for an agent to even say hi to me (about five minutes to connect, another 10 to give me an initial response the equivalent of “let me look into this for you”. After that, you guessed it, more waiting. And was the wait time worth it? Nope!
