My feelings on Wyns’ bonus offerings are a bit mixed – but overall, positive. To start off with the good stuff: I loved the welcome bonus, really liked the reload bonus, and adored the free bet feature. To be honest, these three are the most important parts of any bookmaker’s repertoire of bonuses, so getting them right was very important. And yeah, Wyns managed to nail those, which is worth massive props. However, the rest of the bonuses (like 2 goals ahead or boosted odds) are highly situational, and I don’t think the vast majority of players will take advantage of them. That also applies to the cashback, which, while very sound in theory, in practice gives very little for a huge investment. I wasn’t a big fan of that.

Wyns Free Bets & Bonus/Promo codes

Sports Welcome Bonus – 100% Match up to €100

Wyns bonusesAlthough the sports section of Wyns is pretty decent, that’s hardly something unique to it. Most other online bookmakers will have the same sports offerings as it (or better), so we don’t think that it alone would be enough to attract players. No, instead it’s the bonuses and promotions that will make players keep coming back. And luckily, they’re pretty good too!

The welcome bonus is deceptively simple, but gets much better once you peek under its hood. The specifics don’t seem very impressive at first: it’s just a 100% match up to €100, requiring a minimum deposit of €20 to activate. Sure, some countries will have slightly more than that (like Germany getting up to €200), and others slightly less (like Kazakhstan getting only up to €50), but all in all, it’s a very run-of-the-mill, standard betting bonus.

However, the secret lies in its wagering requirements, which are quite generous. Once the bonus is yours, you’ll just need to wager it x6 times for the winnings from it to be yours. Compare that to the casino bonus having to be played through x35 times, and suddenly things are looking pretty decent, wouldn’t you say? Granted, the minimum odds you’d have to wager it on are pretty high (2.0 for singles and 1.5 for multis), but if you’re clever and a little lucky you should have no issues claiming it!

Weekly Reload Bonus – 50% Match up to €500

As good as Wyns’ welcome bonus may be, it’s just one of a kind, and once it’s gone, it’s gone. Luckily, you can still take advantage of a “reload offer” that will refresh once a week, letting you receive it all over again. In this case, a deposit of at least €20 will net you a 50% match up to €500. Sure, the significantly lower bonus percentage means you’ll be getting half as much in bonus cash as you did from the welcome bonus, but the much higher maximum bonus means high rollers will be rewarded handsomely for their commitment. So it evens out.

The thing that disappointed us here were the increased wagering requirements: this time, you’ll need to bet the bonus amount x8 times instead of just x6. To do the math, if you deposited €20, you’ll receive €10 in bonus funds, and will need to make €80 worth of wagers with that sum (at a maximum bet of €5) to withdraw your winnings. It’s rough, but frankly, still a far cry from what casino players will need to go through.

Bet Builder 50% Risk Free Bet up to €50

The bonus we described above is the only way to receive bonus funds directly through a deposit – but it’s not the only way to get bonus cash. Instead, Wyns lets you earn a free bet up to €50 once a week, and all you have to do is be a little lucky. By placing a Bet Builder wager that’s at least €20 (with real money, you can’t have any bonus cash for this to work), you stand to win not only whatever you were already set to receive from the bet, but some extra bonus cash.

That free bet will be worth 50% of your original bet’s value, but no more than €50. All you have to do is win, and it’s yours – and if you lose, oh well, you won’t have lost anything extra besides your original wager! The best part is that the wagering requirements here are much lighter than for either the welcome or reload promos: just x3 with minimum odds of 1.5 (for both singles and multibets). This makes the free bet bonus not only relatively easy to receive, but also relatively easy to withdraw once it’s yours. We see that as an absolute win!

Cashback Bonus – 10% up to €500

Are you familiar with VIP programs often employed by online casinos? Wyns has one of those too, allowing you to increase your rank by placing real money bets on casino games (specifically slots) – and then each rank increase brings you passive perks, like a cashback on all winnings. Unfortunately for us, we don’t play casino games, so this program is out of reach: and yet, the cashback bonus isn’t! Sports fans can claim it anyway, all without having to climb any levels at all! How do you like them apples, casino gamers?

Here’s how it works: whenever you deposit AND lose over €200 in a single week, you’re entitled to 10% back as a cashback. So, let’s imagine you deposited €500 on Tuesday, and by Sunday you only had €300 – some of your bets panned out, most didn’t, so we’re looking at a net loss of €200. That triggers the cashback, so you can contact support and ask for 10% (or €20) back. It’s not much, but it’s something, right?

Honestly, the worst part to us isn’t the huge sum required to trigger the cashback (since a lot of high rollers could still take advantage of that): it’s that the cashback won’t be added to your account as real money. Instead, you’ll need to play through it x3 times in order to withdraw it. That feels a little unnecessary. Like, if you already lost €180+ to the site, it feels a little insulting to return that meager €20 conditionally. It would have been much better if it was just added to the real money account from the get-go.

Accumulator Boost – Up to 100%

Accumulator bets (also known as accas, or multibets) are a risky business by default. When you place a single bet, it either wins or it loses based on your prediction, but when you build an acca, if just one of the bets in it doesn’t pan out, the entire betslip is a bust even if every single other prediction on it was correct. Considering that, many players have asked themselves “why should I even place these types of bets?” And it’s a fair question: the extra money you’d win from a successful acca bet just isn’t worth the immense risk.

So Wyns provided the obvious solution: “because we’ll give you even more money if you win”. You see, all multibets will naturally give you increased winnings if you get them right, but at Wyns, those winnings will be further boosted by a percentage. The more bets you have in your acca, the more that percentage increase, starting at 3% for 3 selections and going up to 100% for 21 or more. Of course, most players will be most comfortable somewhere in the middle of that range, but the fact that there is a range at all is pretty cool!

2 Goals Ahead – Early Payout

Winning a bet is ideal, but losing a bet can be fine too as long as it gives you a great story. All dedicated punters have this one tale of ALMOST winning their wager until a last-minute development just completely derailed everything – and it’s so funny that it’s almost worth the momentary heartbreak! However, what’s neither worth the heartbreak nor brings a good story is a boring game. A match that is decided very early on, and even when that’s in your favor, the rest of it isn’t remotely exciting.

Well, Wyns will let you bow out of that boring match early. If your team scores 2 goals ahead of the competition – you win your bet instantly. It’s settled, you get paid, no need to keep watching that boring game. And in the unlikely event that the opponents manage to turn things around, it doesn’t matter, you already got paid as if you won (because you did, even if your team didn’t). But watch out: if the opponents get 2 goals ahead, you’ll automatically lose your bet. So it’s very important to evaluate whether it’s worth activating that bonus for each match.

Boosted Odds – Enhanced Winnings

Most punters look for very basic things when trying to find a new betting site to sign up for: available sports, matches, bonuses, good reputation, etc. And these are all highly important things, in fact (as you’ve seen from our review) we strongly emphasize them! But the real hardcore gamblers instead look at the odds. Many betting sites have different odds, and if one has consistently higher ones across the board, that means they’d win more money there than at a site with bad odds.

The Boosted Odds section of the sports page seeks to capitalize on that by making players a promise: all matches there will have the highest possible odds, period. That’s because, for these particular matches, the odds have been calculated to ensure that all winnings from the losing side are distributed to the winning one, with Wyns not taking any kind of cut at all. So, any competitor’s odds for those matches will have lower odds (as that competitor will need to take a slice from the profits). Sure, the Boosted Odds matches may not be very popular, but they’re still worth a look if you’re the kind of player who enjoys “odds shopping”.

Casino Welcome Bonus – 100% Match up to €500 + 200 Free Spins

Wyns may be a sports betting site first and foremost, but (as we’ll establish in our review of the casino section a bit further down), it’s also very accommodating of casino players. In fact, it’s fair to say that players who enjoy playing casino games first and foremost and placing bets second will get a lot more mileage out of this site than players who were mostly or exclusively looking to bet on football. With that in mind, let’s peek at the welcome bonus and see what’s in store.

Your first instinct might be to assume that this offer is way bigger than the one for sports: after all, you’re still getting a 100% match, but this time, up to €500 (as opposed to, at most, €200 like the sports bonus). Not only that, but you’ll also get 200 free spins – how incredibly generous! Although people who only made the minimum deposit of €20 won’t get more than they would if they had chosen the sports bonus, surely this huge amount of spins will increase the overall value of the casino one… right?

Well, not so, because of one element hidden in the terms and conditions: the wagering requirements. Although the sports offer needed to be wagered just x6 times, the casino’s match bonus has to be played through a whopping x35 times! As for the free spins (which, remember, are the main attraction here), the winnings from those will need to be wagered x40 times – and both of those requirements need to be completed in just 10 days. Yeah, you have a significantly better chance at withdrawing the smaller sports bonus than you do this one, even with its hundreds of spins and higher maximum bonus amount.
