If you’re looking for the nation of punters, Spinational might not seem like the obvious choice. After all, with a name like that, wouldn’t you assume that it’s more of a casino site? And yes, those first impressions would be correct: much like many other Stellar Ltd sites, Spinational has placed a lot more emphasis into its slots and live casino games than its sports offerings. This is very much a site aimed at people who want to spin first and bet second.

But that doesn’t mean the betting section is some poorly thought out money-grab – not even close. Sure, you won’t find quite as many sports here as you would at specialized bookmakers, but you’ll still find plenty of them, all across the board. From big, popular sports like football, tennis, and basketball to smaller, less commonly encountered ones like darts, formula 1, and futsal, your betting experience will be diverse and well-rounded.

Football Betting

Come on, admit it – football is the main thing you were looking forward to here at Spinational, isn’t it? And there’s no shame in that, since it’s the most popular sport in the world. It takes considerable effort for a betting site to NOT offer a plethora of betting options for it – which Spinational does, of course. Whether you’re interested in the big leagues like UEFA Champion’s League and Premier League, or are primarily interested in betting on smaller, more local markets (like Romania or Mexico), chances are you’ll find exactly what you need.

In general, you’ll be able to place bets on more than 1,000 different matches here. This number will depend on many factors (like seasons, currently ongoing championships, and so on), but should generally stay stable, which is great news for those looking to bet regularly. On top of that, most matches (even many of the smaller-league ones) will have a plethora of betting markets like Asian Handicap and First to Score, which should satisfy those looking to place bets that are a little more involved than 1×2 or exact score.

Tennis Betting

Football is always king, but the #2 sport can vary from bookie to bookie. Here at Spinational, it’s a toss-up between tennis and basketball, so we decided to cover tennis (if you’re the kind of player who prefers to bet on NBA though, don’t worry, Spinational has you covered too). Interestingly enough, while many other bookies will exclusively focus on international matches from WTA ot ATP, Spinational will also let you bet on more local games, which should be a huge plus for punters looking to place more niche wagers.

As for betting markets, those will (understandably) not be as numerous as the football ones, especially for matches that aren’t part of the big international leagues. Despite that, you’ll still be able to wager on total sets, handicaps, doubles, and trebles for many of the games. In conclusion, although we wouldn’t say that Spinational is the greatest betting site for tennis fans or anything like that, we’d still strongly recommend it for anyone looking to focus more on that sport.

Esports Betting

Esports may not have been around for very long in the grand scheme of sports betting, but they’ve already left a significant mark on the gambling industry. For example, games like Dota 2 have conglomerated a huge gambling community around them, with big tournaments like The International becoming hot spots not just of general player excitement, but also of betting across borders. With all that considered, surely Spinational will represent esports in an encompassing, respectful way, right?

Alas, that doesn’t seem to quite be the case here. Although it has two whole categories for esports as opposed to just lumping everything together (those categories being “Esports FPS” and “Esports MOBA”), the actual amount of games in each is very low, and the amount of matches is even lower. For example, the aforementioned Dota 2 is completely absent from “Esports MOBA”, with only League of Legends matches being present. As for “Esports FPS”, popular shooters like Overwatch have been neglected in favor of Counter-Strike 2. What’s even the point of having esports here if they’re not remotely well represented?

Live Betting

There’s no denying it: live betting is one of the most important sections in any sportsbook – if only by virtue of it being something unique to online betting sites. Practically every bookie we’ve reviewed has placed nearly as much of an emphasis on it as they have on football, and Spinational is no exception. By selecting the “Live” toggle, you’ll automatically switch the site into a mode that filters out any non-live games, and that in turn makes it very easy to find matches in progress – even across sports.

Furthermore, the user interface will shift subtly to now showcase the odds too (extremely important, since they chance much more rapidly than pre-match odds), and that in turn lets you find betting opportunities at a glance. Furthermore, football matches will also show you a live play-by-play, allowing you to monitor the game from a bird’s eye view even if you aren’t able to actually watch it. Although there are some features missing that can be found in other sites’ live sections (such as live streaming for esports matches), what’s here is still enough in our opinion.
