A Welcome bonus is the first, and often the most generous, promotion that you could get from any online betting site out there. As such, it is important for bookies to get the bonus right and offer punters something truly unforgettable. After all, you know what they say about first impressions! So, we were disappointed when we found the bonus of SilverPlay Casino for new players, as it seemed very generic and boring to us.

The bonus nets new players 100% of their deposited funds as extra bonus money to bet with, up to €100. These kinds of promotions are available at any number of online betting sites out there nowadays, usually even having the same percentage of funds deposited counting towards the bonus amount. This amount is on the low end, with most bookies netting new punters €200-500 as a maximum, too.

Still, it’s good that the bonus is available, because not being able to claim a Welcome bonus for betting would be even more disappointing! Speaking of claiming the promotion of SilverPlay Casino, though, if you are interested in doing so, you should know that you need to enter the promo code 100PLAY before placing your first deposit with the bookie.

On average, online betting sites nowadays have a wagering requirement of around 5-10x for similar bonuses, for reference.

What’s more, you will need to place bets on matches with odds of at least 1.80 in order for them to count towards that requirement. That is a common and fair enough restriction, which you can expect to have to comply with whichever bonus you claim. But what’s less common is the fact that certain types of bets like Asian Handicaps are excluded from counting towards the required wagering.

We think that it’s likely that the bonus is available once per week, but it could also be a daily or monthly Reload offer. So, with that in mind, here’s what the bonus offers: You can get 50% of an eligible deposit up to €50 as bonus funds to bet with. That is a pretty lackluster amount, in our view.

Still, at least it is better than nothing! Some online betting sites we’ve recently covered have actually skipped their reload bonuses, which is obviously not great. On the other hand, we believe that getting the Reload bonus of SilverPlay Casino is a lot more difficult than the average Reload offer of betting sites that do offer access to these promotions.

For one, that is because the online gambling house demands that you enter the promo code RLDPLAY before making the deposit. Then, you also need to wager this deposit at least 3x before the bonus is credited to your account. These are just a couple of extra steps that are not usually present with online betting sites nowadays. You can usually cash in and get the bonus right away.

Freebet tokens are a bit different to sports betting bonuses, and it’s important to mention that. These promotions allow punters to wager on the outcomes of sports and not suffer losses from their deposited funds. Instead, the losses are settled from the freebet balance first, which is the opposite to how they are handled when it comes to non-freebet bonuses.

The Monthly Freebet bonuses of SilverPlay Casino are three promotions, each of which you can get once every 30 days. Here is what each of them nets you:

To be completely honest, we find the size of the bonuses to be completely underwhelming. You need to deposit €100 to get the full value of the first one, and that value is barely worth mentioning at €10.

What’s more, the freebet amounts you get from the promotions must be used in full and cannot be split between different bets. If you place a smaller bet than the size of the bonus you’ve claimed, the remaining funds will be lost. Also, can never withdraw the bonus amount, and there is a very restrictive 5x maximum win limit for them.

But this limit is practically impossible to meet, because the maximum odds you can bet on with the freebet amounts are 3.00 or more. There are also minimum odds of 1.80 or more to. Naturally, this is very disappointing. At least there is no wagering requirement for these winnings.

All in all, we would suggest not even bothering with the freebet bonuses of SilverPlay Casino. They seem to be extremely underwhelming in terms of what you are required to cash in to claim them, and they have rather unreasonable maximum win limits and betting restrictions which make them unfun.

Finally, as we promised, we’d like to take a look at the Casino Welcome package of SilverPlay Casino. This is a collection of four deposit bonuses that you can get over the course of that many deposits to the casino. They are also mutually exclusive with the Sports betting bonuses, as you might have imagined.

Each of the Welcome offers has a reasonable minimum deposit limit of €20. Each of them also requires a promo code to be entered to claim it. Here’s what all four bonuses offer and the promo codes required to claim them:

In total, this Welcome package nets players up to €2500 and 250 Free Spins, which is a fairly sizable limit, in our view. Compared to other promotions that you can find online, which net between €500 and €1000 on average, SilverPlay Casino is definitely at an advantage.

However, when it comes to the wagering requirements of the promotions, there is definitely a lot of room for improvement! Each of the cash bonuses of the online gambling house must be wagered 35x alongside the deposited funds used to claim it. In comparison, you usually only need to wager the bonus amounts you get, which means that SilverPlay has a much higher wagering amount than the average of 30-40x the bonus.

The First and Fourth bonuses have a 70x bonus wagering requirement. But since the Second and Third bonuses net just 50% of the deposited funds, you need to wager them up to 105x the bonus amount, which is completely unacceptable, in our view. There is no mention of the wagering requirement for FS winnings, which is also concerning.

However, FS need to be used before placing any other bets, as per the Terms and Conditions of SilverPlay Casino. This is annoying if you are someone who might just be interested in playing table games with the bonus. And, if you are such a player, you will be disappointed to learn that only Roulette, and not Live Dealer Roulette at that, counts towards the wagering requirement of the bonus, and at just 10% of the bonus placed.

You can also not place bets higher than €12 or 5% of the bonus amount, whichever is lower, as that is considered advantage play. This seems unfair to us, especially considering the insane wagering requirement. But what we like the least about the Welcome offers is the small line in the Terms and Conditions of the casino that mentions that during these bonuses, withdrawals are not available, and does not specify whether you could give up on the bonus to cash out.

All of these unfair requirements are in place, and the maximum win limit for the bonus is still just 5x the bonus amount for each of the four installments of the promotion. This is just not good enough, in our view, and makes the bonus a lot less appealing. In conclusion, we would actually recommend not getting this set of Welcome offers at all. Sure, it’s pretty big, but wagering the bonus is just not going to be fun, and neither is the withdrawal restriction!
