Leon Bet Sports Review
Leon Bet is one of the biggest bookmakers on the market, having been founded all the way back in 2007 – practically ancient times as far as the Internet is concerned! While it has changed hands a few times over the years, that change of ownership has not impacted its reputation for being one of the most beloved and popular spaces in the world of sports betting.
Even a cursory glance of its main page is enough to tell you exactly why it has that reputation! Leon Bet offers you the opportunity to bet on dozens of different sports, with numerous international leagues and plenty of betting markets for even smaller games. On top of that, the site offers a fantastic and very well fleshed out online casino section, alongside numerous promotions and bonuses for it and the sports betting section alike.
Football Betting
Let’s face it – if you’re going to a betting site in the first place, chances are you’re going there to bet on football. Granted, this isn’t some kind of universal truth (apologies to all golf betting purists out there), but that’s what most players are into – and if you don’t believe us, just look at Leon Bet’s football section! It’s so huge that it’s practically dwarfing most other sports there!
Here you’ll find all matches from every major league (UEFA, Bundesliga, you name it), alongside quite a few international championships that aren’t usually on TV. What’s more, every football match from the big leagues, as well as a lot of matches from smaller competitions, will feature about ten different betting markets you can wager on. Granted, this isn’t the most football markets we’ve ever seen at a bookmaker, but we can’t pretend like it’s not more than enough for most people!
Basketball Betting
Basketball is a little smaller than football here at Leon Bet, but it’s also very decently represented. It doesn’t take a betting expert to realize that the main focus is on NBA matches, but during the off season you can still find plenty of matches to bet on from leagues like Euroleague, BBL, and Super League.
Well over 20 countries have basketball matches represented here, most with a very wide diversity of betting markets! Big games, like those from the NBA, will have a ton of betting options, all the way down to props and players assists, but even smaller matches (like, just as a random example, Slovenia’s women league) will still have a few markets like 1×2 and points spread to bet on.
Esports Betting
Esports may be new, but they’ve become an integral part of the sports betting experience – and one that Leon Bet has wholeheartedly embraced! As of the time of writing, you can place bets on a whopping 15 games, which places Leon Bet’s esports section among the biggest ones we’ve reviewed here at BettingSites.CC!
Those include the biggest games, the ones you can expect on every betting site – League of Legends, Dota 2, Counter-Strike, and so on. What surprised us in particular is the presence of far smaller titles, yet ones with a very active community around them: games such as Rocket League, WarCraft 3, and even Age of Empires IV are all present here and available for wagers! We can’t even think of the last time we saw a betting site allow wagers on Age of Empires!
Live Betting
Betting on live games has become a favorite pastime for many who wish to engage a little more directly with the sport as it’s being played (instead of taking a passive observer role after placing the bet). Leon Bet makes this easier than ever, with an entire main section dedicated to live sports that’s just as important as the one for regular, non-live betting.
With a click or a tap you’ll see a list of every single match currently being played that Leon Bet supports, and you can then further filter out that list by selecting the specific sport you’re interested in. The site even supports live streaming, which is fantastic – though in practice most games that can be streamed are esports, at least as far as we could tell. Still, there are probably a lot of regional competitions that can only be streamed in a particular country, which means that the final list will largely depend on where you live.

I can’t lie: I’m head over heels in love with Leon Bet. Do I wish that it did a few things a tiny bit better? Sure. But any complaint I could possibly make about this bookmaker just sounds like a nitpick, like trying to come up with things to moan about for its own sake. In no way does it detract from the fact that Leon Bet gave me everything I wanted and then some.
