Getting signed up is a 2-page process. The first page keeps it light, asking only for your email, a password, and agreement to the terms. The second page is where the real detail comes in: gender, first and last name, phone number, country, currency, date of birth, address, postcode and city. Once you're done, a welcome email arrives.

Logging back in afterward is as plain as it gets. Email, password, and you're through. Nothing else stands in the way. The one thing missing is any social sign-in. There's no option to register or log in with Google or another social account, so every visit uses the email-and-password combination and nothing quicker. 

Troubleshooting

If the password slips your mind, recovery is straightforward enough. You click “Forgotten User Password?” at the top of the screen, enter your email and username in the fields provided, and click “Reset Password.” One thing that doesn't have a self-serve fix: if you've lost your account number or username, rather than your password, there's no reset button for that, and you'll need to contact the customer support department to sort it out.
