BetLabel: Is it legit?

BetLabel verificationIt’s easy to pretend like the bad betting sites, the ones that will steal your money instead of paying out your winnings, are hidden somewhere ‘out there’, maybe in the dark web, or in other inaccessible corners of the ‘Net. But that wouldn’t be true. Fake, scammy bookmakers look exactly the same as their legitimate counterparts, and it’s often up to small clues and hints to help you deduce whether it’s safe to play somewhere or not.

We’ve been reviewing online bookies for a while now, so we know precisely what to look for. As such, we thoroughly examined the site to determine whether it’s something that you should trust with your money or completely avoid. Keep in mind, though, that our opinions, albeit professional, are opinions nonetheless. If you disagree with it, that’s great! What matters is that you feel comfortable, which is why it’s important to trust not just our judgment, but your own instincts as well.

The Short Answer: Is BetLabel Legit?

No, BetLabel shows many signs that it’s not a legitimate betting site. We would recommend avoiding it.

Why Do We Think That?

Unknown Owner – Nowhere on BetLabel’s website is its parent company listed – not even as a passing mention. Ordinarily, legitimate betting sites will list their owner, alongside their company address and license in the footer of the site, plain to see – and from there, any interested parties (like us) can do their own research into the company. However, BetLabel hasn’t mentioned an owner anywhere, and researching it gives us conflicting results. Playing at a betting site whose owner is unknown is perhaps the most dangerous and reckless thing you could do – would you deposit your money at a nameless bank?
Likely Unlicensed – BetLabel’s About Us section proudly claims that it has a license by Curacao. Unfortunately, with the owner being unknown, it’s impossible for us to verify that claim. Anyone can claim that they hold a license, but without providing the evidence, that claim holds no water whatsoever. And if a bookmaker isn’t licensed, that means it has no oversight whatsoever. No one is monitoring it or responding to players’ reports of fraudulent activity. You can imagine why this lack of accountability can be really bad for you.
