Twin Withdrawal
Twin Withdrawal/Verification
We may have gone through all of the different ways you can find fun here at Twin, but that doesn’t mean we’ve covered all there is to say about the site – not even close! After all, what good are all of these sporting and casino options if you can’t reliably make a deposit, or verify your account? These things may sound a bit boring, to the point where we doubt most people (especially first-time gamblers) are even considering them – but they’re important nonetheless.
So join us as we explore all of the different payment options Twin has made available to its players! After that, we’ll dive deep into the verification process, shedding some light on what that is and, most importantly, on how you can make it happen with the least amount of fuss!
Twin Verification
But making your deposit isn’t the only thing you’ll need to worry about at Twin – or any other online bookie, for that matter! Once you’re ready to withdraw, you’ll also need to verify your identity so that the site can get to know the real person behind your account. Put away those wine and roses – this isn’t romantic, it’s done solely for legal reasons, as international anti-money laundering regulations require businesses operating online to know precisely who they’re paying. Don’t worry, we were heartbroken when we first found out, too!
So, if not via candlelight dinner, how will Twin get to know you? It’s simple: you’ll need to present a few documents proving your identity, namely your ID card (or equivalent – passport or driver’s license will work too), a proof of youir address (a utility bill is all you need), and a proof of ownership of the payment method you used to deposit at Twin. For example, if you used your card, you’ll need to take a photo of it with the middle digits censored, and if you used an e-wallet, you’ll have to make a screenshot showing your name and the transaction in question. Trust us, we’re making it sound far more complicated than it really is!
Payment Methods Available at Twin
Most people would probably want to deposit at an online gambling site by using their credit card, which makes perfect sense – it’s a perfectly convenient payment option that everyone already owns, and most sites (including Twin) accept it without fuss! However, using your credit card isn’t always the best option, as your transactions will be visible to your bank (which in some countries may result in your credit score lowering). There’s also the matter of restraint – credit cards usually have a large sum of money, but what if you want to explicitly limit how much cash you wish to deposit at Twin?
Well, e-wallets and pre-paid solutions are your friends here – and luckily, Twin supports both! Using an e-wallet like Neteller, Skrill, or EcoPayz, will give you a convenient way to either use your card in a more roundabout way (thus keeping your transactions away from prying eyes), or to power your account with precisely the amount of money you wish to deposit without going overboard. Pre-paid vouchers, such as Paysafecard, also excel at both of these areas, though the downside is that they’re one-time use only, and you’ll need to buy new vouchers every time you deposit. You also can’t withdraw using them, for obvious reasons.
But when it comes to privacy, pretty much nothing can beat crypto! The whole reason for the existence of cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum is to provide players with an alternative way of managing their finances entirely disconnected from traditional banking. Whether you’re doing this for privacy reasons or because you simply find it novel and amusing, rest assured that you can deposit via crypto at Twin without any issues!
How to Verify Your Account at Twin
Go to Your Profile
The first step will have you navigating to your profile’s KYC tab. If your language is something other than English, it may say a variant of “verification” instead.
Obtain all Necessary Documents
You should see a few file upload fields here that are labeled with the names of various documents similar to the ones we mentioned above. Find everything listed.
Take Photos of Both Sides
Take clear photos of every document, front and back when applicable! If your document is, say, a utility bill with a blank other side, you’ll obviously just need the front, but you’ll snap both sides of your ID card (for example).
Upload the Photos You Took
Final step! Just use your phone or computer to upload the pictures you took to Twin’s server and let the KYC team do the hard work from there!
