TrivelaBet Sports Review

As its name suggests, TrivelaBet is a site that, at least on the surface, seems to be focused more on sports betting than on casino or other gambling activities. And although that isn’t necessarily true for all aspects of the site (for example, its promotions – which we’ll discuss later), it’s definitely the case of its sportsbook! Right off the bat, the site offers over 40 different betting options to choose from, which, albeit hardly uncommon in the realm of sports sites, is still very impressive!

What we liked is the specific focus on less popular disciplines – for example, greyhounds racing and table tennis, both of which are pretty big and offer hundreds of matches at any available time. You can also find special bets here, for example wagering on elections (in the UK and US), as well as awards like the Emmys. Although none of these disciplines will win over any players (that will be done by the big sports, which we’ll talk about in a second), they’re still a very nice addition for punters searching for a bit of variety to their betting.

Football Betting

There are dozens, probably hundreds of different sports being played professionally out there, and yet, no matter where you go, football will always be the most popular one! Although we’re not sure what precisely made “the game” so universally beloved across the globe, its effects can be felt in the amount of major leagues that can be found for it in various countries in Europe and beyond. Of course, TrivelaBet will let you wager on all of those and then some – in fact, you’ll have access to well over a thousand matches from around the world!

Some of these will come from individual countries’ leagues, such as the England Premier League, the Spanish La Liga, or the German Bundesliga. Others will come from more international contests, such as the UEFA Champion’s League in Europe or Copa Libertadores in South America. And if your interests lie in much smaller countries’ matches (like Croatia, Jordan, or Thailand, just to name a few), don’t worry, they’re here too! There’s hardly any professionally played match which isn’t available for betting here, and that’s worth praising!

Much to our surprise, ice hockey was the second most popular sport here at TrivelaBet – a very rare sight, indeed! Most of the time, we see sports like basketball or American football take the fabled ‘second place’, so it was honestly very refreshing to see ice hockey be given the spotlight it deserves for once! If you’re a fan of this sport, you’ll be happy to know that TrivelaBet will let you wager on over 500 matches at any given time, and even more during major championships!

Most of those matches come from Canada and the US, which shouldn’t be too surprising. However, you’ll also find plenty from Germany, Poland, Russia, and even from international competitions like the IIHF World Championship. Looking a bit deeper, the betting markets (at least for the bigger matches) are also very diverse, with TrivelaBet letting you bet on handicaps, double chance, first goal, totals, and many more!

Esports Betting

Some people think that esports are not real sports and have no place in online sportsbooks – but even they can’t deny just how popular esports betting has become! Practically any bookie will let you place wagers on a number of different online games, and the same holds true for TrivelaBet… even if the number of games available here is a bit lower compared to what you’ll find at most online betting sites. You’ll find only about a hundred or so matches at any given point, and only for a small handful of games.

The most popular of these is Counter-Strike, and when it comes to it, TrivelaBet covers practically every single major championship – ESL Pro League, Brasil Liga, ESEA, you name it. Far more impressive are its MOBA counterparts, DOTA 2 and League of Legends, which both sport only a small handful of the matches that Counter-Strike offers. The remaining games available at TrivelaBet are Kings of Glory, Rainbow Six, and Valorant, but those have even less matches present for them, which makes the absence of games like Overwatch, Rocket League and StarCraft all the more perplexing and disappointing.

Live Betting

Last, but certainly not least, we have come to arguably the most essential and unique function of online bookmakers: the ability to place bets on games that are currently in progress! This function, although comparable to magic, has been widely adopted by many betting sites, with each one bringing something new and interesting to it. So, how does TrivelaBet compare? Well… Quite frankyl, it’s alright. It’ll get the job done, but not much more than that.

Each sport that has live matches currently ongoing will have a little “LIVE” icon next to its name – and that extends to its individual league or championship, making them very easy to track down. But if you want it to be even easier, you can simply click or tap on the big “LIVE” button in the top left corner, which will filter out any upcoming matches from the search results. So far so good – but while TrivelaBet is very good at telling you when a match is ongoing, it’s not so great at warning you when one is about to end, or has recently ended. In one case, we witnessed an entire category just vanish from the menu with no warning, which was very confusing and off-putting – and we imagine it would be even more so to an inexperienced punter.
