Royal Fortune Sports Review
Let’s not kid ourselves – going by first impressions alone, Royal Fortune doesn’t look like much. It has an extremely generic name and a very poor user interface, one that feels very outdated despite the fact that this is a site founded in 2024. It’s not a good look no matter how you slice it – but first impressions aren’t everything, so we decided to put Royal Fortune under the microscope to see if it’s any better than it seems!
Our first point of interest was, what else, the sports betting section! And quite frankly, this was a very promising start! This sportsbook has dozens upon dozens of different sports, and although most of them only have about 30 or so matches at a time (including some betting options that have over a hundred matches at competitors), overall, this won’t affect most players. The overwhelming majority of punters will be interested in the really big sports, and Royal Fortune is doing just fine on that front.
Football Betting
Football is king – no two opinions about it! It’s THE most popular sport in the world, in some countries becoming a pro player is the surest way to stardom, and it has singlehandedly turned FIFA into a best-selling gaming franchise despite how terrible these games are! All joking aside, football fans are numerous, diverse, and with a long range of demands when it comes to betting, and for the most part, Royal Fortune managers to cater to them – even if it calls football “Soccer”, which we know will tickle many the wrong way.
This sportsbook offers about 1,100 to 1,500 matches at any given point, depending on currently ongoing championships and events. As you can imagine, the main draw are the really big leagues, such as UEFA Champions League, Premier League, Serie A, and La Liga. This is what you’ll be encouraged to wager on most, but if it’s not up to your liking and you prefer something a little more niche, you can always look at the smaller leagues from individual countries. Although Royal Fortune’s user interface isn’t the best, it’s still fairly simple to view the list of available leagues and pick the matches you want to wager on most.
Basketball Betting
Most sports available here at Royal Fortune have only a few dozen matches at the very most – but there are a few exceptions to that rule. Obviously there’s soccer, but beyond that, ice hockey, tennis, American football, and basketball have a few hundred matches – or at least, they did as of the time of writing, though it’s unlikely for that to have changed when you read this. With that in mind, we decided to focus on basketball, as we feel most of our readers would want to read about it compared to the other sports.
So, how good is Royal Fortune’s basketball betting? Well… It’s alright. As you can imagine, the vast majority of matches, something like 95% of them, come from the NBA – which might be what many players were looking for anyway. But if you’re someone who is looking to wager on much smaller leagues, then prepare to be disappointed. Many big markets for basketball (like Canada) aren’t represented at all, and the ones that are never have more than 10 matches available there.
Esports Betting
This bookmaker doesn’t have a dedicated esports section – instead, all of its different games are listed directly in the sports section, just like any other sport would be. This can make it a little confusing to browse them, but if you’re someone looking for a specific game, at least you won’t spend too much time searching for it! It’s another question entirely just how many games you’ll find here, and it doesn’t have a particularly fun answer: just Dota 2, Warcraft 3, League of Legends, Valorant, Rainbow Six, StarCraft, Arena of Valor, and Overwatch.
You might have noticed that Counter-Strike, arguably the biggest esport on the market alongside Dota 2, is completely missing – which is perplexing. And speaking of Dota 2, Royal Fortune barely supports any matches for it either, to the point where insanely old games like Starcraft and Warcraft 3 have way more matches represented here than Dota 2 does! Although someone who doesn’t understand much about esports could look at this section and think that the diversity of content is pretty decent, in reality, it’s anything but. How disappointing!
Live Betting
At long last, we get to one of the most important sections for any online bookie – the live betting! Alas, it’s a big of a mixed bag here at Royal Fortune. Let’s start with the positives: the site’s implementation of live bets is pretty decent on a technical level, and during our testing, we found them to be very snappy and quick to make. The time between the odds shifting was never shorter than the time it took us to make a bet, which would overall create a less frustrating experience for players looking to take advantage of the exact odds they see in the moment.
Live betting as a whole, though, is far from perfect. As we’ve mentioned several times throughout our review, the user interface of Royal Fortune is really bad, and nowhere is this more obvious than in the live section. As you first open it, you won’t even be able to filter out by a particular sport – if you just want to look for ice hockey live games, you have to scroll down past football, basketball, and the other sports listed before it! Furthermore, there isn’t a big list of all currently played live games you can browse – or rather, there is, but it’s relegated to the side menu where it’s virtually useless. Instead, most of the screen is taken up by the betting markets of the live game you’ve selected, which is great! But how about letting us pick a game from a comfortable menu first?

No, it isn’t – although some of the bonus descriptors make mentions of virtual sports, we actually didn’t find any of those here.
The betting markets you’ll encounter will change based on the specific sport you’re wagering on. Big football matches will have plenty of markets, like match result, totals, handicaps, or odd/even. However, smaller sports will only let you bet on the winner of the game.
Yes, it is. This site will let you deposit using practically every popular cryptocurrency (bitcoin, ethereum, tether, etc).
No, after a thorough investigation, we found that Royal Fortune is not a legitimate bookie. The biggest giveaway is its fake license, which means that the site is entirely unregulated. We have gone at more length about this further down in our review.

If I had to describe Royal Fortune’s sports section in one word, it’s “alright”. It’s not the worst I’ve ever seen, though rest assured, it does have many, many flaws (such as its insanely disappointing esports section). At the same time, it won’t blow your socks off, nor give you some kind of unique selection of matches you won’t find virtually anywhere else. Imagine if you found a restaurant that sells only chicken wings – and they’re alright wings, a bit greasy but decent enough. So, why would you ever go there when instead you could go to another restaurant that also offers chicken strips, legs, and burgers, and even the wings are a little better? That’s how I felt examining Royal Fortune: like there’s no real reason for me to be betting there if I wasn’t reviewing it.
