Pribet Is it Legit?
Pribet: Is it legit?
Let’s face it – if you’re reading this section of our review, then you probably already have some doubts about Pribet’s legitimacy. We can’t blame you! Despite the fact that the site looks pretty great, it still has no shortage of red flags, especially when it comes to its bonuses. But is there really anything to worry about, or is the site just a little weird?
No worries – we at BettingSites.CC understand just how important safety is to our players, and so we spend quite a lot of time investigating each site we review to make sure it’s safe, secure, and reliable… and if it’s not, we tell you all about it! As usual, we urge you to do your own research and come to your own conclusions. If you disagree with ours – that’s great! Trust your gut! Just, uh… don’t say we didn’t warn you.
The Short Answer: Is Pribet Legit?
No, after a thorough investigation we have determined that Pribet is not a legitimate gambling site. We would not recommend it as a safe bookmaker.
Why Do We Think That?
- x10 Wagering Requirement – Perhaps the most egregious thing that made us distrust Pribet is that, hidden deep within its terms of service, is the requirement that every single deposit you made must be wagered 10 times before it can be withdrawn. While it’s normal for bonuses to have wagering requirements, and it’s also normal to require for your deposit to be played through once before it can be withdrawn, an x10 wagering condition is simply outrageous. This means that, if you deposit €10, you’ll need to place €100 worth of wagers to withdraw €10. It’s insanity!
- Limits on Winnings – On top of requiring an absurd amount of wagers for your deposits, Pribet will limit your winnings as well! You can only limit up to €100,000, which means that most jackpots will be seized by the site rather than by you. What makes this even more outrageous is that there is literally no reason for this condition to be in place, as jackpots are paid out not by the casino site, but by the game provider. As such, Pribet taking away any jackpots you won past €100,000 is practically legal theft – and how “legal” it is feels rather loose.
- Confusing Terms & Conditions – Believe us, it was a chore and a half to describe the bonuses available here at Pribet, and it wasn’t just because there were a lot of them. Many of their “fine text” requirements were vague, confusing, and at times contradictory. There was even a bonus that listed wagering requirements, and one line below that stated that any winnings made with the bonus can’t be withdrawn, so, which is it? And this bizarre trend isn’t just limited to the bonuses – it continues well into Pribet’s actual terms of service, which, let’s face it, is completely unacceptable.
- Poor Reputation – We weren’t the only ones deeply disappointed with Pribet – going over to various review aggregate websites, it’s very plain to see that most players do not care for the site at all. The vast majority of all the reviews we saw about it from users who have actually wagered there were extremely negative, citing missing bonuses and unpaid winnings. While it’s completely normal for any gambling site to have a few negative reviews from disgruntled players, when it’s this many all at once, we seriously need to take a step back and evaluate whether they might have a point.
