Nomaspin Sports Review
Judging by its name alone, you might be thinking that Nomaspin is nothing more than an online casino, a place where you can do little more but spin slots and maybe play some blackjack. This couldn’t be further from the truth, as the site (just like most gambling websites nowadays) is a hybrid offering a roughly equal amount of sports and casino betting opportunities. And while we’ll delve into the casino side of it a little later, for now, let’s look into what we presume you’re most interested in: its sportsbook!
At a glance, things are looking very impressive here, with dozens of different sports all available for players to gamble on right away. However, further investigation quickly shows that Nomaspin seems to be less of an all-you-can-eat buffet and more of a sample platter, with most sports only offering a small handful of matches available for betting at any given point. This, as we’ll discuss in just a moment, includes the huge and ever-important sports like football, which is quite disappointing to see.
Football Betting
Let’s be real for a second here – most players come to betting sites to bet on football. Sure, tennis, basketball, and casino gambling are nice and all, but if you’re reading these words right now, chances are you’re doing so because you were interested in football betting – and, unfortunately, you’re going to be quite disappointed here at Nomaspin. The site offers only about 400 or so matches at any given point, which may sound like a lot at a glance, but the reality of it is that most bookmakers will let you bet on more than a thousand. Nomaspin’s offerings are literally a third of what you’d find at most sites!
As you can imagine, the tournaments it primarily focuses on are the really major ones, such as Premier League, but what it lacks are many smaller games from around the world. If you want to bet on matches played in, say, Belgium or Romania, sorry, buddy – you’ll have to find another site to do so! The more savvy among you might be thinking that this is a sacrifice required to give each match a bunch of betting markets (as at most sites the biggest matches have a ton of markets while smaller ones barely have none), but that’s not really the reality of the situation. The amount and diversity of markets isn’t substantially different from what you’d find at a bookie offering three times as many matches.
Tennis Betting
Football is always the king of any betting site you can find, but what about the ever-prestigious second place? Well, that depends: sometimes it’s basketball, a few times it’s been American football, but most of the time, it’s tennis – and Nomaspin is no exception. With over 300 matches available at any time, Nomaspin’s tennis offerings actually come close to its football ones… though not because they’re so many, but because its football matches are quite scarce in number.
As you can imagine, while football focuses more on big, yet still local tournaments (for example, the German Bundesliga), tennis’ focus is more on international tourneys, like WTA and Challenger. Frankly, it’s an improvement upon the site’s football offerings purely because it seems to offer players the opportunity to wager on pretty much any international match that other sites would also have listed. The same goes for betting markets, which, although nothing exceptional, are satisfactory given what we’ve got. Yep, that’s as good as Nomaspin’s sports betting section is going to get: “satisfactory”.
Esports Betting
It’s impossible to talk about sports betting without mentioning esports – doubly so because Nomaspin seems to have placed quite the focus on them! You won’t simply find them listed among the traditional sports, but can also apply a filter to only see them and none of the traditional betting options, with just one convenient click! Which we genuinely love, but unfortunately, in the big picture, the esports section serves as a microcosm of all the problems that encompass Nomaspin’s sports betting section as a whole.
At a glance, you’ll find dozens of games listed – not just the big ones you can find anywhere (like Counter-Strike and League of Legends), but also smaller titles like Call of Duty, StarCraft 2, or even Injustice 2 – imagine that, being able to wager on a fighting game from 2017 that has since been replaced by two newer instalments! All joking aside, it seems like a lot of effort has been put into this section… until you realize that actually, most of those esports have only one or two matches available here. Hell, some of them (like the aforementioned Injustice 2) don’t actually have any real games, as their competitive scenes are dead, so you can only wager on AI battles. And we’re sure this can have appeal to some, but personally, we find it quite boring.
Live Betting
Much like with the esports section, you can actually filter out all of the non-live matches by simply pushing a single button… and, once again, doing so reveals a profound lack of content here at Nomaspin. Aside from soccer and esports, you’ll hardly find any live matches to wager on, doubly so if the sport you’re looking to bet on is out of season (for example, American Football matches when the Superbowl isn’t playing). Most site have made up for that by introducing a lot of regional matches from various countries, but that’s simply not the case here at Nomaspin.
Beyond that, you’ll find a few basic features here (such as a basic tracker for some sports, like football). Perplexingly, though, what you won’t find is any sort of live streaming, which is just odd. It’s no secret that Nomaspin has emphasized esports over traditional sports when it comes to live betting, and they’re all streamed for free on Twitch anyway. Many bookmakers have implemented this into the site so you can watch the game as you decide on your live bets, so why hasn’t Nomaspin gone through this simple effort?

If I could describe Nomaspin’s sports betting section in one word, it’d be “disappointing”. Overall, I really wanted to like the site, and went into it with high expectations – it looked very professional, and its bonuses (which I’ll discuss in just a moment) were quite nice and varied. I was hoping that this would be a prime destination for punters, and yet, after many hours of testing, my overall impressions were a resounding “meh”. Am I saying that Nomaspin is awful garbage that won’t satisfy anyone? No, of course not. But at the same time, why settle for “meh” when there are plenty of outstanding sports betting sites out there?
