Payment Methods, Deposits, and Withdrawals at NixBet

First things first, we’d like to discuss the payment methods of the gambling house. That will not take too long, as there are just two of them to pick from here! These are credit cards and various cryptocurrencies, both of which you can use to deposit. However, when it comes to withdrawals, only crypto seems to be available.

Normally, there are way more payment methods that betting sites tend to allow punters to use, such as letting you cash in via e-wallets, prepaid cards, bank transfers and so on. The lack of flexibility with NixBet is pretty annoying, not to mention that withdrawals being crypto only are going to be inconvenient to those who have cashed in via a FIAT currency! However, the actual deposit conditions of the betting site are pretty good.

The minimum deposit limit here is just €20, well in line with the majority of betting sites nowadays, even if certain bookies do allow you to cash in smaller minimum deposit limits. Then, there are no deposit fees for cashing in to the betting site, at least by the site itself. Now, that’s how such fees should be handled in our view, and how they are indeed handled in the majority of betting sites nowadays, too. That said there can be third party charges to cover when cashing within NixBet. These include crypto miner fees, for instance, which are owed on every deposit to the betting site.

Before you withdraw from NixBet, you will be expected to have wagered your deposited funds at least 1x. That might sound like a bit of an unusual requirement, but the majority of betting sites nowadays tend to implement such prerequisites for withdrawals, too, as part of their AML policies. So, we are not concerned with it being present here at all!

As for the actual withdrawal conditions, there are only crypto withdrawals, as we explained. This comes with the downside we also explained, of cashing out being annoying if you have deposited with credit cards. Furthermore, there is a very high minimum withdrawal limit of €40, twice the minimum deposit at NixBet and twice as much as other betting sites expect you to cash in at a minimum. That said, we did like the maximum withdrawal limit, which was set to no less than €5000 per week and €20 000 per month, both of which are relatively high amounts, in our experience!

Unfortunately, while deposits were free of charge, the betting site stipulated that withdrawing multiple times per week could lead to having to cover a certain withdrawal fee it charges. There is no information on what that fee is either and we cannot consider it reasonable for a betting site to have such rules for withdrawals nowadays. All in all, though, the withdrawal conditions of NixBet are not terrible, even if they could use a second look into!

NixBet Verification

Verification is the process during which a betting site will make sure that you are of legal age to gamble and that you are not using stolen funds to do so. That is achieved by collecting personal information on punters, such as the following:

• Government-issued ID like ID cards, passports, drivers’ licenses and so on.
• Proof of address which can be a recent utility bill that shows your legal name and address.
• Proof of account ownership if you are withdrawing via a FIAT currency, which is not possible with NixBet.

As for NixBet in particular, it does specify that you will have to verify your account before you initiate your first withdrawal, as well as if you manage to score a huge win from the betting site. These are pretty standard circumstances in which a betting site can ask you to verify your account, and you should expect to be required to do so in most betting sites you play in.
