100% Mixed Sports Comboboost

Okay, so this bookie doesn’t have a sports welcome bonus, which is quite crazy… but do you want to know something even crazier? It doesn’t have a reload bonus either! If you’re planning to bet on sports without touching casino at all, you won’t get even a cent of bonus funds! Instead, every bonus available for sports is highly situational, and quite frankly, not particularly decent.

Take, for example, the 100% mixed sports comboboost, the first offer you’ll find here. Basically, it’s a way to reward players who are placing combo bets (also known as multis, accas, etc), which are notoriously risky. If even one selection didn’t hit the mark, just forget about your entire wager even if you guessed 20 other selections correctly. LyraBet, like many other casinos, are trying to encourage those risky bets anyway by offering to pay out more money to the few who manage to place them successfully.

Just like these other sites, the more selections you make, the more you’ll add to your final payout, starting with 3% more for at least 3 bets and ending with 100% more for more than 20 bets. Higher risk means higher reward, though at some point no reward would be worth the risk. Still, if you decide to take advantage of this promo, keep in mind that all selections must have odds of at least 1.40. In stark contrast with the offer’s name, it doesn’t seem like you HAVE TO bet on mixed sports – you simply CAN if you want.

2 Goals Ahead – Soccer Early Payout

“2 Goals Ahead” is another promotion that’s very commonly found in online bookies. The idea is that, if you opt into this promo and then your team scores 2 goals ahead, your bet will be settled instantly as if you’ve won. Conversely, if the opponents get goals ahead, you’ll lose immediately even if your team makes a comeback. It’s a measure intended to encourage foresight and analysis of the game (not just in terms of who’ll win, but also how the game is likely to play out). And it does that fairly well.

The problem is that you can only use this promotion on football matches here at LyraBet. Other gambling sites generally don’t have this limitation, allowing you to wager on basketball, tennis, etc and still win if your pick gets a certain score ahead of the opponents (though obviously adjusted depending on the sport). This is a huge blow to fans of sports aside from football, especially since it’s done for no real reason. It cost LyraBet nothing to enable this promotion across each of the popular sports – they just didn’t want to because it meant they’d have to settle more bets early. And they just couldn’t bother.

Soccer Bore Draw Stakeback

Your team winning a match is obviously what you want to happen – but even a loss can be acceptable if it’s at least exciting. A highly contested match that ends with the opponents scoring at the last possible minute at least gives you a story, and what does a result of 0-0 give you? Nothing at all. A boring loss and a waste of your time watching, essentially, 20 people running around in a field pointlessly chasing a ball. No one likes this kind of loss, so LyraBet will refund your bet if this happens. No questions asked.

Granted, this isn’t applicable to every wager. After all, the intention is to give you insurance against bore draws, not to give you opportunities to place risk-free bets. As such, this promotion is only active on matches that are unlikely to end in a draw – and the offer kicks in if they do anyway. Frankly, it’s a decent promo, but it’s also not nearly sufficient in and of itself. If you’re lucky enough to see it in your promotions page though, then rejoice, for this is arguably the best bonus on the entire site for sports fans.

The way it works is very similar to most cashbacks: once you deposit some money and then wager it on live sports, if those bets don’t pan out, you get 10% of your losses back. For example, you deposited €100 on a Monday, and then immediately started placing bets on in-progress games. Some of them panned out, most didn’t, and by the end you were only left with €60. That’s a €40 net loss, so on Tuesday you could message the support team and ask for a 10% refund, or €4 back – credited to your real money balance, so now you have €64 left to keep betting however you wish.
