LVBet Sports Review
Many of the sites we examine here at BettingSites.CC are brand new, fresh faces to an industry dominated by about two dozen well-established, global giants. LVBet is inarguably one of those giants, being one of the oldest online bookmakers still in operation – as of the time of writing, it’s about a decade old! Since it remains licensed and in operation to this day with no real scandals or controversies, it’s obvious that this is a legitimate bookie that a ton of players have and continue to trust with their money.
As such, the question of our review is slightly different: can this Goliath stack up against the many modern Davids springing up all around him? And the answer to that question is very complicated, especially if we’re focusing exclusively on the sports betting section. Even at a glance, it’s obvious that LVBet isn’t offering nearly as much as its newer counterparts, both in terms of the available sports and the matches found within.
Football Betting
We don’t need to tell you just how gigantic football betting is as an industry – it practically floors everything else combined! As such, pretty much every bookmaker has made football its primary focus, emphasizing it over anything else. LVBet is no exception, but even with this added focus, its number of matches is still much lower compared to the average bookie: about 700 stacking up against well over 1,000 at any given point. There’s no contest.
Granted, this can be excused somewhat because most players simply won’t care about anything but the major games. Your average John won’t want to bet on some random Bulgarian league game, they’ll want to bet on the UEFA Champion’s League or Bundesliga! And yeah, if that describes you, you’ll certainly get enough out of LVBet, especially when we consider the very impressive amount of betting markets on offer. But if you’re someone who prefers to build accas and looks for good odds rather than recognizable names, there are dozens of better options on the market.
Tennis Betting
Tennis is LVBet’s number two, but, just like with football, the amount of games you’ll actually find here is pretty low. As of the time of writing, you can place wagers on about 200 different tennis games, which is still more than double the amount of basketball games available (that sport has claimed the bronze medal at LVBet). Once again, it’s enough for more casual players, but not particularly great for hardcore gamblers looking to build a solid acca.
Interestingly, LVBet has chosen to focus on national-level tournaments rather than internationals, which is typically the case at modern bookmakers. On top of that, the amount of betting markets available remains as impressive as ever, despite (or perhaps because of) the lack of matches. As such, we can’t say with certainty whether the tennis section is bad or not. Ultimately it’ll depend on your tastes and preferences – which, granted, is usually the case, but LVBet is a tad more subjective than usual!
Esports Betting
Unlike tennis, though, there’s absolutely nothing subjective about LVBet’s esports betting section – it just sucks, plain and simple. For starters, you’ll only be able to place wagers on three different games – Counter-Strike 2, League of Legends, and Dota 2. Granted, these are the biggest games on the gambling scene, but what about Overwatch, Street Fighter, or StarCraft 2? What about the many much smaller games that still have a presence on other bookmakers, like Arena of Valor? Granted, the site does offer a few more games (like Valorant and Rainbow Six), but they’re hidden away on an entirely separate page and usually have little to no matches.
And it wouldn’t be much of a problem if LVBet offered just a few different games, but with a ton of matches and betting markets for each one… but they don’t. While Counter-Strike has a decent amount of matches, its two peers very much don’t, and even CS2 doesn’t have a particularly impressive assortment of betting markets within its matches. It almost feels like we’ve gone back in time when bookies were still experimenting with esports instead of accepting them as a mainstay.
Live Betting
The in-play betting section of LVBet is on par with all of the others: that is to say, it’s alright. Nothing that will blow your socks off, but also nothing that will impress you with its design or diversity of matches. It’s simply there to get the job done without being fancy. The in-play section (separate from the main sports betting one) is neatly organized, yet noticeably smaller and with less features than you would expect.
In addition, the site just doesn’t have a ton of in-play games in general – we counted less than a hundred, more than half what other bookmakers will offer. This is an unfortunate side effect of there being generally less matches at LVBet, but it doesn’t make things much better. True, the bets are relatively quick, and the betting markets are okay, but what does it even matter when most matches available at LVBet will come and go without ever having live bets available?

There’s no doubt about it: the betting section of LVBet absolutely did not live up to the site’s reputation. It almost felt like I was stepping back in time, looking at a world far less confident in experimental betting features than the one we have now. It honestly made me wonder who the target audience of LVBet even is at this point. Is this the kind of choice where you need to trust either the long-standing and reliable bookie with far less matches and features, or the newer, less established site that offers more risk, but also far more things to bet on? Honestly, why should this be a choice at all? LVBet had a rare opportunity to do both, and it simply hasn’t.
