Housebets Sports Review
Housebets is built entirely around crypto, so you’ll need some digital currency just to get started. That makes it feel quite modern, but it also means it’s not accessible if you’re looking to bet using traditional money. You can still buy crypto using fiat through Apple Pay, bank cards and a few other options, but there's no way to just deposit cash directly into your account.
The sportsbook itself is decent, covering around 50 sports with a solid variety of markets. It works well and has everything you’d expect, but it doesn’t really go beyond what most other betting sites offer. It’s a good setup, just not especially unique.
What stands out more is how smooth and responsive the site feels. The design of the sportsbook is sharp and clean, with a minimalistic style with multiple cryptocurrency visual touches. It’s easy to get around and doesn’t feel clunky. There’s also a full casino section that’s clearly had some effort put into it. Minimum deposits and withdrawals are low, which is handy, and the site operates under a Curacao licence giving a sense of legitimacy.
On the downside, you won’t find any deposit bonuses here. Not even a standard welcome offer. And since you can’t use fiat money directly, your payment options are more limited than usual. That restriction might put off anyone not already comfortable with using crypto. Or those who simply don't want to use crypto for betting, whatever the reason is. Long story short, Housebets have positive and negative features, and we will review it here so that you have all the details you need to know.
Housebets Betting Options
Housebets gives you access to more than 50 sports, which puts it in line with most well-rounded betting sites. You’ve got all the major categories like football, basketball, tennis, and MMA, plus a decent number of secondary sports including darts, handball, and table tennis. Esports are also part of the mix, which adds more variety if you’re into that scene.
Within each sport, the platform includes a strong lineup of competitions. Football is the most detailed, covering everything from the Champions League and top-tier national leagues to lower divisions and youth tournaments. The same goes for sports like basketball and tennis, where both international and regional events are well represented.
The number of markets you get per event really depends on the sport, but overall it’s a deep selection. You’ve got all the basics like match winner and totals, and then more specific markets like player stats, corners, cards, and time-based bets. Niche options pop up too, especially in football and basketball, giving you more to play with if you prefer digging into stats or trying something different.
Live betting is available across all sports, and it’s rare to see a fixture that isn’t covered. The in-play interface is responsive and shows useful data like scores and time remaining, which helps when betting on the fly. You can switch between games easily, and odds update instantly with the flow of the match.
Advanced features like Bet Builder and Fast Markets are part of the package as well. Bet Builder lets you customize your own combination bets within a single match, while Fast Markets give you the chance to bet on short-term outcomes like a goal or corner in the next five minutes. They add a bit more strategy and speed if you like to stay hands-on during the games.
Football
Football gets top billing at Housebets, no question. It’s the most developed section on the platform, with more matches, deeper market coverage, and better in-play support than anything else. Whether it’s a quiet Tuesday night or a packed weekend, the football options are always front and centre.
All the major leagues are included. You’ll find the English Premier League, Spain’s La Liga, Italy’s Serie A, Germany’s Bundesliga, and France’s Ligue 1. Continental competitions like the UEFA Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League are well covered, as are international fixtures like World Cup qualifiers, the World Cup itself, Euro tournaments, Copa América, and the Nations League. Even club friendlies and pre-season tours show up when they’re active.
Smaller leagues get strong support too. You can bet on the Scottish Championship, Romania’s Liga I, Finland’s Veikkausliiga, Slovenia’s PrvaLiga, or Bolivia’s División Profesional. There are fixtures from leagues in Bahrain, Kazakhstan, and the Faroe Islands, as well as youth leagues and lower divisions from countries like Germany, Brazil, and Sweden. If you like tracking obscure competitions or following a niche betting strategy, there’s plenty to work with.
Live betting is available on every single football match. That includes everything from Champions League nights to under-21 friendlies. Once the game starts, in-play odds kick in immediately, and the markets usually stay open right up to the final whistle, with frequent updates to reflect the match.
Each game has hundreds of betting markets. You’ve got the standard ones like full-time result, both teams to score, over/under goals, and double chance. Then it branches out into more detailed options: total corners, number of cards, player to score anytime or first, total shots, method of victory, and time interval bets like goals between the 60th and 75th minute. With Bet Builder, you can mix and match these into custom combos for a single match, which is especially good when you’ve got a strong read on how the game will play out.
Tennis
Tennis has a strong presence on Housebets and sits just behind football as one of the platform’s key sports. It’s consistently available throughout the year, with matches from both the men’s and women’s circuits popping up daily. Because tennis has such a packed calendar and matches happen across all time zones, it’s a good option if you want betting action outside the usual football schedule.

The big tournaments are all there. You’ll find full coverage of the Grand Slams: Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon, and US Open. Beyond that, Housebets offers odds on ATP and WTA events from the main tour, including Masters 1000 tournaments like Indian Wells, Miami, Madrid, and Rome, as well as smaller 250-level events and WTA Internationals. There’s also coverage of Challenger and ITF matches, so there’s something available even during quieter weeks.
One of the best parts of betting on tennis is how fast-paced and momentum-driven it is. Odds can swing heavily within a few games, which gives you real opportunities if you’re good at reading matches live. It’s also a straight head-to-head sport, so you don’t have to worry about teams or draws complicating things. Plus, with tournaments running all over the world, there’s rarely a day without something to bet on.
Housebets gives you the standard spread of markets for each match. You can bet on who’ll win, total games, correct score, number of sets, and handicap options. More detailed bets include things like first set winner, tie-break in the match, or total aces. In live betting, some of these markets stay open mid-match, letting you react as the match unfolds.
Compared to other sites, the tennis offering at Housebets is about what you’d expect. It doesn’t go out of its way to add extras, but it covers all the key markets and tournaments properly. If you know what you’re looking for, everything you need is there.
Basketball
Basketball is another major sport on Housebets, right up there with football and tennis in terms of visibility and coverage. It has a strong daily presence, with matches from all over the world and plenty of live betting options. If you follow the sport regularly or just like fast-paced action, there’s plenty here to dig into.
You can bet on the biggest leagues like the NBA and EuroLeague, which get the most attention and the widest selection of markets. There’s also solid coverage of domestic competitions including Spain’s Liga ACB, Italy’s Lega Basket Serie A, France’s LNB Pro A, and Turkey’s BSL. You’ll also find leagues from countries like Australia (NBL), Brazil (NBB), Argentina, and even China’s CBA. During international windows, Housebets offers odds on FIBA World Cup qualifiers, Olympic basketball, and continental tournaments like EuroBasket.
Market selection covers all the usual ground. You’ll find bets on a match winner, point spreads, and total points. Games also include quarter and half-time bets, team totals, winning margins, and even player stats in bigger matches, like total points, assists, and rebounds. Live betting adds extra layers, with updated spreads and totals as the game progresses.
If you ask yourself, “Why should I bet on basketball matches?”, then here is the answer. Basketball’s appeal for betting comes from how quick and back-and-forth it is. The scoring is constant, which creates plenty of short-term swings and value shifts. Games are often tight and go down to the wire, which makes for exciting in-play opportunities. It’s also great for accumulator bets, especially when combining favourites across leagues or tournaments. If you know your way around basketball, Housebets gives you all the tools to put that knowledge to work.
Other Sports
Housebets goes well beyond the big three with a surprisingly broad selection of other sports. You’ll find decent coverage for handball, volleyball, badminton, cycling, biathlon, padel, and water polo. Even more niche options like footvolley and kabaddi are on the list, which gives the platform a bit of extra variety you don’t always see.
The number of markets you get depends a lot on the sport. Handball and volleyball usually come with several options like match winner, total points, and set betting. Badminton might have fewer markets, often just match winners and set scores. Cycling and biathlon tend to be more event-based, focusing on outright winners or head-to-head comparisons. Sports like padel and kabaddi are generally limited to just the main outcome, but that’s fairly typical across the board for those.
eSports are also well represented, with more than 10 titles available. You can bet on Valorant, King of Glory, Crossfire, Age of Empires, Counter-Strike, Dota 2, Mobile Legends, Standoff 2, Call of Duty, and others. Housebets covers both major tournaments and smaller matchups, with live betting included on a lot of games. It’s a solid lineup if you’re into competitive gaming, and there’s enough going on to keep you busy throughout the week.

Housebets didn’t exactly blow me away with its sportsbook, as it feels rather standard compared to other betting sites. Still, the platform is solid and offers everything a bettor needs – plus much more – including plenty of niche sports, lower divisions, a wide variety of betting markets, and a really clean interface. The major drawback, however, remains the lack of deposit bonuses for sports, which makes the sports betting side of Housebets less appealing. Other than that, it’s a high quality bookmaker.
