At first glance, Billy Bets might not look like anything all that impressive to the average gambler – just a standard betting site like many others, right? However, beneath its unassuming facade, Billy Bets in particular hides a bundle of surprises, some extremely pleasant, and others, not so much – but we’ll get to those in due time.

Considering the fact that the site has “bets” in its name, it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that it has emphasized its sportsbook, with dozens upon dozens of different betting options available. Many of them are very obscure, like Gaelic Hurling, and even among the more popular ones (like tennis), you’ll find loads of less common leagues that aren’t found on too many sites. You can even make “special” bets, like on elections!

Football Betting

Football has always been the most popular sport for betting enthusiasts, and by a considerable margin to boot! As such, it shouldn’t come as any surprise that Billy Bets have prioritized it over any other betting option, with well over 1,000 different matches to choose from at any given time. And honestly, that number is probably higher by a few hundreds, as the site’s own counting metrics cap at 999.

Upon opening up the football section, you’ll be met with a cornucopia of choice – nearly every country with an official football league, even smaller ones like Bolivia or Oman, has matches present here. Obviously most of you reading this won’t care about that and will primarily be interested in the larger championships, like UEFA Champion’s League or La Liga, and in those cases, you don’t need to worry. You can access live games straight from the main sportsbook page, by navigating to the top-left corner and clicking or tapping on the “Live” icon. That will filter out any matches that aren’t currently being played.

Once you go into the live section, you’ll find a very convenient menu with all sports that have games in progress at the top of the screen – alongside the exact number of games you’ll find for each. This makes navigation extremely simple and intuitive even for players who aren’t used to playing at betting sites. Keep in mind that the number of live games you’ll find is highly dependent on the time of year, as off-seasons will be much slower than more active times. That, however, is hardly the fault of Billy Bets.
