BetRebels Sports Review
There’s no harm in being a rebel, as long as you’re fighting for the right cause! Personally, we at BettingSites.CC rebel all the time against fraudulent bookmakers who seek to only exploit and take advantage of players instead of providing them with a safe and reliable place to bet on football and other sports. But does BetRebels signify the end of this long battle, or merely its beginning? Let’s take a deep dive into it and find out!
Right off the bat, we’re starting with a very positive mpression – namely, of BetRebels’ fantastic sports betting section. Although the interface isn’t particularly great (neither on desktop nor mobile, which we’ll get into later), the content of the sportsbook is fantastic! It’s full of dozens upon dozens of different sports, and while most of them will offer less than 100 matches at a time (sometimes way less), the most popular sports will all have hundreds of them. There’s no doubt that players will be spoiled for choice regardless of their personal preference!
Football Betting
Whether you’re a very hardcore gambler who likes to place at least one bet a day or a casual who only wagers when there’s a hotly anticipated match on, chances are you’re here specifically to bet on football games. BetRebels know this as well, since you’ll have no shortage of matches to put money on! Obviously, a big chunk of them will belong to the really big championship everyone and their mother knows (Champion’s League, Premier League, etc), but the real gem here lies in the less popular offerings.
Pretty much every country that hosts football matches in any official capacity will be represented here, with BetRebels allowing you to wager on most (if not all) of said matches. That even includes many countries in Africa and South America, markets that aren’t typically represented very well on the online gambling scene. Of course, most players won’t be very interested in those matches, but just the fact that they’re there for those who would like to bet on them is enough to give BetRebels an edge over many of its competitors!
American Football Betting
Every sports betting site’s most popular sports is football (which shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone), but the number two spot varies wildly. Sometimes it’s tennis, other times basketball, a few times it’s even been ice hockey! BetRebels, however, is one of the rare sites which has by far the most matches in American football than any other sport besides football! Why? Well, we’re willing to guess that someone who worked on the site was a big fan of the NFL!
And speaking of, the NFL is, indeed, where most of the matches in this category originate – shocker, right? But we were surprised to find quite a few other leagues here, such as Canada’s own CFL, or the NCAA. Despite the very wide variety of matches, though, the same can’t be said about the American football betting markets at BetRebels, which are incredibly lackluster. For most games you’ll only be able to wager on 1×2, spread, and total, which is completely unsatisfactory. Sure, the big NFL games (like the Superbowl) will have plenty of markets, but that doesn’t fix the issue with the majority of them being pretty barebones.
Esports Betting
Ah, esports! Love them or hate them, their impact on the online casino industry is undeniable, and they’ve certainly left their mark on any bookmaker out there – including BetRebels! By opening up the Esports category, you’ll find a list of all the games that the site currently supports, and for better or worse, that list is very similar to what you’d find at many other bookies. We’re talking Counter-Strike, Dota, Kings of Glory, all the usual suspects that you’d typically associate with esports betting.
Giving BetRebels some credit where it’s due, it’s worth noting that the site also sports a few less commonly found games, like StarCraft 1 and Rainbow Six Siege. That’s really cool in theory, but in practice, there really aren’t enough matches for these particular esports to justify their presence. Sure, it’s really cool that they’re there, and we’ll always believe that having more choice is better than having less… but at the same time, that choice should be meaningful. Having options for the sake of a number rather than for the sake of meaningful betting doesn’t help anyone.
Live Betting
Finally, we’re reaching one of the most essential parts of any sports betting site – the live betting feature! This is the big thing that gave online bookies their edge all those years ago, so it has to be stellar – and sadly, it leaves a lot to be desired here at BetRebels. Don’t get us wrong – it’s not like the live betting feature doesn’t work! It does, and it’s great – you can place wagers on in-progress games without any issues whatsoever, and for football matches, you can even see a live play-by-play diagram to let you know how the game is going.
No, the issue here is that live matches can be a little tough to find. Unlike most other betting sites, BetRebels doesn’t have a dedicated “live” section. Instead, in-progress games have been relegated to small footnotes in the bigger pages of individual sports. For example, instead of having a page where you can see all live games for all sports easily and conveniently, BetRebels will only let you see a few live games while browsing all the matches for a given sport. Which is a side effect from the site’s overall subpar design, but still worth noting nonetheless.

It’s difficult for anyone – even for experienced reviewers like ourselves – to state definitively whether a particular betting site is secure and legitimate or not. However, after a thorough examination of its safety and legality, we determined there’s a very low chance you’d be scammed at BetRebels.

For the most part, BetRebels’ sports betting section does its job very well! Granted, if you have been reading my review up until this point, you might have gotten the impression that I had a lot of problem with it – which is true, I do. But at the same time, those problems are relatively small, and many of them are nitpicks that many players might not even notice. That’s not to say they’re not there, mind you – I just think that they might not be as impactful of your experience as they were of mine. Most players should simply see a great online bookie with a ton of different sports and matches to choose from!
