Many tend to underestimate the importance of customer support for an online bookmaker – and they do so at their own peril. Because after all, if something goes wrong and you find yourself in an unpleasant situation (for example, your deposit isn’t being reflected, your bets aren’t registering, your withdrawal is stuck on ‘pending’ for weeks, etc), you literally have no other choice but to contact support and hope for the best.
If it comes to that, you’ll have two options to do so: via live chat or email. The former is what BetHall’s owners have clearly emphasized, since you can access it through any page (unlike their email which is only shown on the Help Center page). So, in theory, this should be a nice, easy way to get your issue sorted. In practice, alas, things aren’t quite so simple.

Despite how incredibly important this feature is, I ultimately had some serious issues with BetHall’s support team – specifically, their live chat feature. For starters, I had to wait a really long time to even get someone to acknowledge my questions – north of 15 minutes, which is completely unacceptable for live chat. Even after I got in contact with them, the representative I matched with was very unhelpful and barely answered anything – for example, when I asked about BetHall’s owner, I was told that this is a “security-related question” and so they couldn’t answer it. What?! That makes no sense! And if I had such an experience just asking questions, imagine if you’re asking about a cashout!
