BetHall Sports Review
In the past, if you wanted to gamble, you needed to go to dedicated gambling halls and hope that they have the kinds of bets you wanted to make. But today, the BetHall is right there in your pocket! The only question is, is it worth checking it out at all? To answer it, we at BettingSites.CC decided to take a deep, thorough look at it and examine all of its features, starting with its sports betting section. After all, isn’t that what you want to know about first and foremost when considering a new site?
To BetHall’s credit, its sportsbook is filled to the brim with various betting options! Obviously, you’ll find the obvious ones like football, tennis, basketball, etc. But you’ll also be able to bet on dozens of additional sports, some of which you should be well acquainted with (esports, horse racing, that sort of thing), and others, which you might not have heard of until today. How many of you wanted to bet on floorball or short football? Well, you’re about to get your wish! You can even place “Special” bets, like on politics or big TV events!
Football Betting
If you’re surprised by the fact that football has by far the biggest focus here at BetHall, all we can say is welcome to your first betting site! Football is the most popular sport in the world, both in general and specifically for betting, so it’s important for BetHall to nail it if it wants to stand a chance amid its competition. Luckily, it has done just that, with not only a huge selection of matches (well over 1,000), but also a great diversity of leagues and different betting markets!
As soon as you enter the sports section, you’ll immediately encounter a whole bunch of major football leagues, like UEFA Champion’s League, UEFA Europa League, Premier League, etc. This means that, without having to cycle through menus or search for individual matches, you can instantly filter out anything but the most popular and relevant games to you. But if you’d rather wager on something a little more obscure, don’t worry, you can do that too by scrolling further down and examining the list of countries. Nearly every country that has an official football league will have the matches of that league be represented, so you can find the exact match you want to bet on even if it’s not a part of a major international tournament!
Greyhounds Betting
Football is always king at online bookmakers, but the number two spot (in terms of how many matches are typically available) tends to vary greatly – but typically, it’s a traditional sport like basketball, tennis, or American football. As such, we were very surprised to find out that BetHall seems to have emphasized greyhound racing to the point where all of the aforementioned sports have less matches to bet on than the doggos!
Greyhound racing is illegal in some countries, which is why most betting sites don’t offer a whole ton of options for it. Here, though, you can find between 300 and 400 different races from Australia, New Zealand, UK, and Ireland – arguably the biggest collection of racing events you can find anywhere. The only downside here is that, unlike traditional sports (football, basketball, etc) you’ll only be able to wager on the winner. However, that’s pretty normal for greyhounds racing anyway, so we can’t hold it against BetHall.
Esports Betting
Esports were once the laughingstock of the industry, and yet now have grown to be one of the most widespread and lucrative betitng activities in the world! BetHall is no exception, with esports being among its top 5 most popular (and populated) sports, having more than 200 different matches to choose from at any given point. Admittedly, it’s not exactly the greatest selection of games we’ve ever seen, but it should still be more than enough to satisfy most punters.
In total, you can place bets on nine different games, the most popular of which being Dota 2, Counter-Strike, Valorant, and League of Legends. Titles like WarCraft 3 and Rocket League, although technically present, barely have anything to wager on when you look at their categories, which is a shame. If you’re someone who exclusively wants to wager on esports, then there are plenty of better options – but if you’ve got a more casual interest, this bookie will be quite satisfactory.
Live Betting
Last, but certainly not least, we’ve reached the live betting section of BetHall – and it’s one of its best ones! For starters, it’s very easy to enter it: every sport will have its own mini live section once you open it from the menu, but you can further narrow down the available matches by just the ones being played at the moment via a button in the top-left corner. Furthermore, even if you don’t filter out at all, the live matches will typically show up first, making them extremely easy to discover even if you’re not actively looking for them.
Furthermore, BetHall will offer you a number of different features for certain sports – for example, esports will let you watch the match on Twitch, at least for the bigger games. Football has no such feature, but will show you a live play-by-play of the match so that you’ll know where the ball is and what’s happening on the field at any given moment. Finally, all games will plainly show you when odds have shifted (the numbers in question will briefly change color to show you they’re refreshed), which sounds like nothing, but in practice is so convenient!
Frequently Asked Questions
You’ll find more than 40 different sports and activities here, including esports and special bets.
Yes, but they’re not accessible through the sportsbook. Instead, you can find them in the menu on the left, just under “Live Betting”.
The variety of betting markets will depend on the sport you’re trying to wager on. For example, greyhounds races will only ever let you bet on the winner, and on nothing else. On the other hand, sports like basketball or tennis will have a few additional betting markets (like exact score), but anything except the biggest matches won’t get too crazy. Finally, we have football – where even the small-league matches offer a dozen ways to bet!
Yes, but the variety of coins isn’t great, as only a handful of them can be used here (Bitcoin, Bitcoin, Dogecoin, and Tether).
Unfortunately, the answer is a resounding “no”. BetHall is an unlicensed online bookmaker which is coming from an unknown owner – two very bad signs when it comes to safety evaluation. Although having the parent company remain in the shadows isn’t inherently bad, it typically means that they’re either involved in shady business or are about to be, which is why they don’t want their veteran players to recognize them.

I’ve got no real complaints about BetHall’s sportsbook – it does everything you’d want it to and then some. What I liked most is the incredibly rich variety of different sports, which will ensure that you’re never bored – especially if you decide to leave your comfort zone and bet on games you normally wouldn’t! Beyond that, the site has plenty of cool features that make it an easy recommendation (like the wide number of greyhound races), to the point where the worst I can say about any part of its betting section is “it’s not as good as it could be”. Granted, BetHall has many other issues in its remaining sections, but that doesn’t mean its sports page isn’t great!
