20BET Sports Review
We’ve seen many sites with names like [Number]BET, or some variation of that name, and a lot of the time, they seem to be pale imitations of the originals created by TechSolutions designed simply to scam people. As such, we were a little more cautious when approaching 20BET – but as it turns out, our concerns were unfounded, as it is, indeed, a proper and legitimate TechSolutions website rather than a copycat!
With that said, while it’s definitely not a scam, 20BET is in many ways inferior to some of its big brothers. It offers less sports to wager on, as well as less matches overall. We also found the interface to be a little tough to navigate, and often missing vital information (such as how many matches are currently available for a sport). Granted, none of these issues are game-breaking, but whether they turn you off personally or not will depend entirely on your taste and preferences.
Football Betting
Imagine that – football is the biggest sport here at 20BET! What a shock, right? In all seriousness, football (or soccer if you’re uncultered) has always been a staple of the online gambling industry, so it should come as no surprise that 20BET lets you wager on basically any professional league throughout the world. The big ones (like Premier League and Champion’s League) are no-brainers, but besides them you’ll also have much smaller competitions from around the world, taking place in countries like Slovenia (PrvaLiga), Japan (J.League) and Hungary (NB I).
Needless to say, you won’t be starved for matches to bet on, but how about the wagering requirements? Well, things do get a little more complicated here: while the big games will offer you dozens of markets to bet on (like totals, handicaps, halftime/fulltime, winning margins, odd/even, minutes, etc), the smaller ones will only let you bet on the biggest markets like 1×2. It’s a little disappointing, sure – but hardly unexpected, given how standard it is across the industry.
Tennis Betting
It’s a little hard to tell which sport has the 2nd most matches available at 20BET, given the fact that the site doesn’t seem to indicate how many matches each sport has in general. As far as we can tell, though, tennis seems to be pretty high up the ladder, which is great news for fans of the sport who were looking to place a few bets on arguably some of the most intense 1v1 events in all of sports!
Just like with football, the tennis category will let you bet on every major league (Challenger, ATP, WTA, etc), as well as on a bunch of less major ones from around the world. Unfortunately, it has the same issue as before, where the major matches will have an abundance of betting markets while the smaller leagues will just be limited to a few bigger markets. With that said, though, this shouldn’t be a problem for most tennis fans who’d want to bet on the bigger leagues anyway, and even if you were interested in smaller matches, the selection of markets is hardly terrible.
Esports Betting
Esports are presented in a bit of a messy way here at 20BET, as there isn’t a singular esports betting category – at least as far as we could tell. Instead, each game has been given its own category among the rest of the sports – meaning that, just as you can select to view all matches for football or tennis, you can choose to check out matches for StarCraft or Counter-Strike along the same vein. We certainly think it would’ve been better to put all the esports together, but at the same time, this is hardly something to cry about.
Overall, our impression of these sports, as disorganized as they may be at 20BET, is very positive. The diversity of leagues, matches, and betting markets alike is more than enough to keep most players very satisfied with what’s available, especially given the fact that most bookies will only let you bet on 1×2 for most esports. Here, you can also place bets on the score, maps, and rounds, though the exact markets will depend based on the game in question.
Live Betting
Live betting is a huge focus of 20BET – to the point where the sports category won’t tell you how many matches in total there are for each sport, but WILL tell you how many are currently being played! There are two ways you can access the in-play games: via a small toggle on the page of each sport that will filter out all of the matches that haven’t started yet, or through a separate Live category in the menu that… pretty much does the same thing.
However you choose to get to the live betting section, though, you’ll see the same thing: hundreds upon hundreds of in-progress matches, each with a multitude of markets to place bets on. You can even filter out the games that haven’t started yet, but are about to begin in 30 minutes, 60 minutes, etc, so that you can choose one that’ll take place at the most opportune time for you. It’s a great system!

All in all, I thought that 20BET’s sports betting section was pretty decent. It didn’t blow me away, nor did it make me call everyone I know to convince them to sign up. But it’s important to keep in mind that I, like the rest of the staff here at BettingSites.CC, am a professional reviewer, and I see tons of sites on a daily basis, so it’s harder to impress me. That doesn’t mean 20BET is bad, it just means that it isn’t doing a lot of things above and beyond what its competitors are doing (even if its live section is pretty good). If this is to be your first online bookmaker, then yeah, it’s a solid choice. But if it isn’t, and you’re looking for something with more choices, you should probably look elsewhere.
