For the most part, the sports betting section of 0xBet is a colossal disappointment. Sure, it has its good parts, like football and tennis, but they’re nothing special compared to what you’d find at pretty much any other online bookie – same matches, very similar odds, even a nearly identical user interface. However, 0xBet has also dropped the ball on quite a few aspects, like its pathetic esports section and its slow, uninspired live betting one. So, at best, 0xBet provides an experience on par with other sites, and at worst, it’s way worse. Why would anyone ever play here, again?

0xBet Sports Review

0xbet sports betting reviewCrypto casinos are incredibly common in the world of online gambling, but the same can’t be said about crypto bookmakers. Sure, there are plenty of them that also accept alt currencies, in addition to dollars and euro, but we haven’t encountered too many that will only take Bitcoin and Ethereum deposits. Well, 0xBet is that rare exception… sort of. While you can technically use your card, it’s only to purchase crypto that is then deposited into the site on your behalf.

Despite this loophole that allows you to play even if you don’t have a crypto wallet, it’s obvious that 0xBet is directed specifically at people who are already interested in these currencies. And while they might get some enjoyment out of it, we ultimately don’t believe that players who aren’t used to crypto will find a lot here that isn’t also available at other bookmakers that will accept non-crypto deposits as well.

Football Betting

Whether you’re at a crypto betting site or a normal one, there’s something than ever changes – football is king! You’re always bound to find the most matches for football than for any other sport, and 0xBet doesn’t try to reinvent the wheel on this one. Just like at most other bookies, you’ll find a wide selection of international matches that primarily focus on the big leagues, but will also include a few hundred games from much smaller ones around the world.

The same sentiment goes for the betting markets, which are about what you’d expect without going above and beyond. You’d get to bet on winner (1×2), score (totals), and, in some cases, specials. The latter category is typically reserved for the biggest matches, like from Premier League, but even smaller ones will usually have plenty of selection for winner and totals. Again, none of this should be brand new to you if you’re experienced in the world of online gambling, but it’s nice to see nonetheless.

Tennis Betting

It took us a little bit of work to discover which sport has earned the silver medal here at 0xBet! Gold always goes to football at any site, but the number 2 spot is a bit harder to pinpoint. After a while, we discovered that tennis had the 2nd most amount of matches here, hovering between 300 and 350 depending on when you open up the site. Just like with most other bookies, 0xBet primarily focuses on international championships, mostly ignoring the local level ones.

0xbet tennis betting

The betting markets on display are also nothing too unusual. Your average major league match will let you bet on the winner (duh), correct score (for each set and for the full game), odd/even, as well as on handicaps. It’s not the worst selection in the world, but we also feel like a bit more creativity could have been employed here to really provide players with a unique tennis betting experience.

Esports Betting

The betting options for football and tennis here at 0xBet were okay. On the flipside, though, the options for esports are downright pathetic, to the point where we almost wish they hadn’t been included at all! For starters, 0xBet will only give you the opportunity to wager on TWO different esports! This isn’t everything that is available, technically speaking, as there are lots of categories for other games (like Valorant), but they’re completely empty. Sometimes they even showed up as empty even though the menu stated that there were games scheduled for them. Was this some kind of weird bug?

And sure, the two esports that are available (Counter-Strike and Dota) are by far the most popular ones… but you certainly wouldn’t know it from 0xBet, who have only included a tiny handful of different matches (for instance, Dota 2 only has 4 as of the time of writing), and with only 1×2 as a betting market. This sort of treatment for arguably one of the most popular betting categories in all of gambling feels… disrespectful. Almost like 0xBet’s creators don’t see esports as a “real” sport, but don’t want to completely exclude them, either.

Live Betting

Last, but certainly not least, we’ve got live betting – arguably the biggest advantage that online bookmakers have over their land-based counterparts (aside from the convenience of being able to place bets from anywhere, of course). The ability to wager on games as they’re happening has practically revolutionized the concept of sports betting in general, which is precisely why it’s such a shame that at 0xBet it… kind of really sucks.

For starters, very few matches will actually support live betting even if they’re already available at 0xBet – many will just begin and end without ever going into “live mode”, so to speak. On top of that, the betting markets aren’t anything special, mostly focused on halftime/quartertime winners rather than any more exciting categories. Finally, we found the live section to be rather slow, and even when we weren’t actively placing bets selections took quite a while. We can only imagine how bad of a problem it’d turn into once odds can shift in a matter of seconds!

Frequently Asked Questions

By our count, 0xBet includes 20 different gambling activities, including some non-sports ones (such as politics).

No, we were not able to find any virtual sports options here, only traditional sports and a small selection of esports.

The markets of 0xBet will largely depend on the sport being played, but some of the more popular ones will include 1×2, Correct Score, Asian Handicap, Halftime/Fulltime, and First to Score.

Yes – in fact, 0xBet is primarily a crypto site! It’s easier to place a deposit here using crypto than it is via traditional (fiat) currencies.

No, unfortunately we do not believe that 0xBet is a secure bookie. We have gone at length about this conclusion further down in our review, but for now, it’s important to note that the site breaks many regulations.
